Chris is grounded in compassionate, human-centered care. He strives to make quality healthcare accessible to every client and is dedicated to empowering individuals to become the best versions of themselves. Recognizing that every journey is unique, Chris works collaboratively to provide personalized attention. Through empathy and understanding, he helps clients overcome barriers and achieve their health goals with confidence.
Chris graduated from the University of Alberta in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, completing his practicum in cardiac rehabilitation at the Jim Pattison Centre for Heart Health. Since 2021, he has been certified as a CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS). Additionally, he is a certified GLA:D practitioner, delivering specialized programs for individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis. Chris is currently pursuing his MBA at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, where he hopes to combine clinical expertise with business leadership to drive meaningful improvements in Canada’s healthcare system.
Chris’ career began as a Therapy Assistant with Alberta Health Services, serving rural communities. His clinical practice experience includes working as a Kinesiologist in Edmonton, supporting residents in assisted living facilities, with the Alberta Healthy Living Program in Camrose, AB and as an Exercise Physiologist in team-based primary care in Vancouver. Additionally, Chris gained valuable experience in occupational health as the ergonomics program lead for a major agricultural company in High River. These diverse roles have provided him with a well-rounded perspective on healthcare delivery across various settings and populations.
Outside of work, Chris loves to travel by plane, car, or motorcycle. At home, he enjoys relaxing with his two cats, Misty and Mabel, and unwinding with a good whodunnit movie.
