Registered Nurse

Kate Kinnaird

Kate’s nursing practice is shaped by attentiveness, practical education, and a belief that clients are better equipped to care for their health when they understand the “why” behind each step. She is drawn to preventive care and values the time to understand each client’s needs, concerns, and long-term goals. Through clear communication and collaborative care, Kate helps clients feel informed, capable, and supported in making decisions that contribute to lasting wellness.

Kate earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2018 before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Langara College in 2023. Her background in psychology and nursing allows her to consider both the mental and physical aspects of care. She began her healthcare career in community mental health before moving into hospital-based nursing, where she specialized in vascular and general surgery. This experience has given her a strong understanding of both acute care and community-based support.

When she is not caring for clients, Kate enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog. She loves getting outdoors for walks and hikes and finds relaxation in reading.
