Practice Lead, Diagnostic & Screening Coordinator

Nastaran Kheirkhah

Naz’s affection for people and relationships thrives at Harrison where she can get to know clients and help keep them calm through any number of lab related jobs. Often labeled “the easiest blood draw you’ll ever experience,” her warm demeanour and exuberant smile welcome clients into the lab.

Naz takes great pride in the quality of her work, while also delivering excellent, personalized client experiences. She loves the diversity of the role, helping patients beyond blood work with diagnostic tests such as ECG, audiometry, and many more. She is as happy to meet new patients and learn about them, as much as greet old friends and catch up while the work is being done.

With over 25 years experience in a lab setting, Naz immigrated to Canada in 2000 and has worked in primary care settings since 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Lab Science degree and a Lab Assistant certificate. Her experience is broad and diverse, including biochemistry, haematology, microbiology and in therapeutic drug monitoring. She’s worked at St. Paul’s Hospital lab, in a research lab (Healthy Heart Clinical Trial and BC Transplant Society), and with the Canadian Blood Services.

Naz loves to travel and explore new places and cultures. In her spare time, she has taken up oil painting and gets on her bike when the sun is out. You can find her outside in the spring and summer, gathering with family and friends for a picnic.
