Heather is a passionate advocate for preventive medicine, possessing extensive experience in working with children and their families. Deeply committed to teamwork, Heather ensures that personalized care is thoughtfully delivered by a well-coordinated, multidisciplinary team. Heather’s educational journey began at Bow Valley College, where she completed the Medical Office Assistant program in 2003, and she honed her skills with medical administration training at SAIT. Her professional experience, serving both adult and pediatric populations within Alberta Health Services, has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of diverse healthcare needs. She has worked in Hematology, Oncology, and Transplant clinics at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, as well as in Gastroenterology at Foothills Hospital and the Colon Cancer Screening Centre. A dedicated team player, Heather is always ready to assist cross-functionally to ensure clients have an exceptional experience.
When she’s not at the Centre, Heather enjoys unwinding with a good book, listening to her favourite musical artists, running, and dabbling in interior design, much to her family’s delight.
