Shaggy loves the people first approach to patient care that Harrison provides. She is eager to be part of a team that prioritizes and focuses on compassion in each client interaction. She hopes to help put clients at ease, often as the first face they see in the clinic and support them as they navigate potential health concerns and their wellness journey.
Harrison’s approach of “treating clients as if they are family” truly resonates with Shaggy. She leads with empathy and loves getting to know clients, learning their stories, and relating to them so they feel heard and seen. She is motivated to be part of the support system for clients and clinicians that deliver excellent health outcomes.
Shaggy completed her Medical Office Assistant training at Douglas College. She worked with Vancouver Coastal Health specializing in cardiology, and has experience in several clinical settings including outpatient diagnostics, atrial fibrillation, and a cardiac catheterization lab. She has particular interest in children’s health and creating open, safe spaces for mental health investigation and treatment.
Shaggy loves to travel and explore new cultures and corners of the world. When at home, she loves to try new recipes from her growing collection of cookbooks, and takes the extra two minutes to make an amazing latte in the morning.
