Dr. Naila Ahmed

Dr. Naila Ahmed is passionate about partnering with clients to achieve their best health. Known for her warm, inclusive, and collaborative approach, Dr. Ahmed empowers individuals by truly listening to their concerns and tailoring care to meet their unique needs. She believes that healthcare should not only address immediate concerns but also empower individuals to take charge of their long-term wellness. Her philosophy centres on shared decision-making and evidence-based strategies that are both practical and effective. She fosters a nonjudgmental space where all clients feel respected and cared for.

Dr. Ahmed’s international background enriches her perspective and approach to care. After growing up in the United Kingdom and Germany, she earned her medical degree at Baqai Medical University and completed her foundational training in England. There, she gained broad clinical experience across many specialties and expanded her postgraduate knowledge in dermatology, rheumatology, endocrinology, psychiatry, care for older adults, and palliative medicine. Dr. Ahmed has particular clinical interests that include women’s health, older people’s care, cardiovascular disease and diabetes management, and supporting mental health and wellness.

She has been a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners for over 14 years and served as a clinical leader to a busy community-based primary healthcare clinic. Her leadership focused on optimizing treatment plans, reducing stigma around mental health, and managing a variety of complex family needs. She is highly motivated to deliver client-centred solutions and improving the overall healthcare experience.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ahmed loves cooking, hosting gatherings, and exploring new cultures and cuisines. She is a devoted mum to her two cockatiels, who she lovingly admits truly run the household.
