Kendy approaches nutrition with a focus on making it practical and sustainable. She takes time to understand each client’s needs and preferences, helping them find realistic ways to support their health without making food feel restrictive or overwhelming. Education is central to her approach, giving clients the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices while still enjoying the foods they love.
Kendy earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of British Columbia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics from the University of Ulster, completing her clinical internship at Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. Much of her career has been spent in outpatient and multidisciplinary settings, supporting clients with diabetes, high cholesterol, fatty liver disease, and other metabolic conditions. This experience has given her a strong understanding of how nutrition can support the management of complex health concerns. She also holds a Professional Diploma in Diabetes Management and Education, with additional training in nutrition therapy for pregnancy and fertility, and the Low FODMAP diet for irritable bowel syndrome, together broadening the range of nutritional needs she can navigate with clients. Kendy has also taught food and nutrition at the college level, an experience that complements her ability to make complex nutrition information understandable and relevant to everyday life.
Outside of work, Kendy enjoys Pilates, travelling, and spending time with her husband and son. She loves exploring different cuisines and stays involved in her community through volunteering and fundraising.
