The Exercise Physiologist team possess deep knowledge and passion for movement and its relationship to positive health outcomes and longevity. We work with clients of all abilities to address their movement and fitness goals. With our guidance, support, and expertise, we assist clients in overcoming personal barriers, and foster a healthy relationship with exercise by discovering what motivates them.

What You'll Do:

Use exercise and movement to promote health and well-being. Work with clients of all ages, abilities, and goals by educating, assessing, collaborating and motivating. You will support clients with:

  • Preventive care and disease prevention
  • Chronic disease management
  • Injury prevention and rehabilitation
  • Movement and exercise prescription
  • Performance and fitness optimization
  • Injury prevention and active rehabilitation
  • Chronic pain management
  • Exercise goals and accountability
  • Exercise programing and form correction
  • Lifestyle and stress management techniques
  • Movement for healthy aging

You Will Provide:

  • Musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, balance, strength, and movement assessments
  • Exercise, injury, goal setting and chronic disease management consult sessions
  • Administering appropriate submaximal and maximal assessment protocols
  • Post visit reports on the health status of each assigned client, including the results of tests and assessments
  • Post visit follow-up and referrals
  • Case management support that includes phone calls, email communication, appointment bookings and similar client support
  • Collaboration with internal experts on client education such as webinars, articles, content and other client education resources within your area of expertise

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Certified Exercise Physiologist, CSEP or ACSM
  • Experience with exercise testing (stress testing), ECG reading an asset
