Dr. Ali Tausif believes whole-heartedly in a patient-centered approach to healthcare. He takes a keen interest in creating opportunities for clients to develop lifestyle changes both at the individual and community level. With a focus on personalization and prevention he empowers his clients to manage all aspects of their health. He enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary, primary care team and is highly motivated by the collaborative and supportive environment at Harrison. By engaging with other passionate and skilled clinicians, Dr. Tausif believes he and his clients can achieve outstanding health outcomes together.
Dr. Tausif qualified at Dow Medical College at the University of Karachi. In 2009 he became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the United Kingdom, followed by a fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2017. He has additional training with a diploma in Diabetes from the University of Leicester, and a diploma in Gynecology which provides great experience and compassion for women’s health.
Dr. Tausif is experienced in group practice settings, having worked in both private and public family medicine in the United Kingdom and in Calgary, Alberta. He brings expertise in blood sugar and cholesterol regulation to the team and is particularly passionate about the prevention and management of pre-diabetes, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
Dr. Tausif enjoys getting outside for long walks with his wife and kids, listening to music, and playing cricket with friends.
