Phung earned her Bachelor of Business Operations from DeVry University in 2004, followed by a Human Resources Management Certificate from Mount Royal University in 2008. She obtained her Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation from CPHR Alberta in 2011 and has since completed a Change Management Certificate and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching. These credentials equip her with a well-rounded toolkit to support organizational growth and employee development. Her career spans diverse sectors, including financial services, utilities, live production, and creative agencies. Phung is energized by aligning organizational strategies with programs that drive employee engagement.
Deeply committed to community service, Phung has coached and mentored recently homeless, at-risk women, gender-diverse individuals, and newcomers to Canada to ease their transition to sustainable and meaningful employment. In her free time, she enjoys long walks, hiking, and exploring new cuisines—whether dining out or experimenting in her own kitchen.
