Elise Cheng brings a calm, thoughtful presence to her work and enjoys the day-to-day interactions that come with supporting clients and families. Whether it’s remembering a familiar face, sharing a lighthearted moment, or helping things feel seamless behind the scenes, she is attentive to the small details that make people feel comfortable and cared for. She also values being part of a collaborative team environment where reliability, organization, and kindness matter just as much as efficiency.
Before transitioning into healthcare administration, Elise spent more than a decade working in early childhood education in Hong Kong and California. After earning a degree in Economics from UBC in 2004, she pursued a career in teaching and later completed her AMS Montessori Early Childhood credential through the University of California, Irvine in 2016. She went on to teach preschool, where she developed a strong ability to anticipate needs, coordinate many moving parts, and create a smooth, supportive experience for families. After returning to Vancouver in 2025, Elise completed the Medical Office Assistant program at Langara College and transitioned into healthcare administration, combining her organizational skills with a warm, people-centered approach.
Outside of work, Elise enjoys discovering new cafés and sharing strawberry matcha’s with her mum. She also enjoys Pilates, The Great Pottery Throwdown, and the occasional Ted Lasso rewatch.
