Mirvat Kalaf

Mirvat brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to client-centred care to the Harrison Lab. Her passion for delivering exceptional client experiences shines through in every aspect of her work, from performing precise tests to coordinating seamless diagnostic services. With a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach, Mirvat ensures that each client receives personalized attention and high-quality care. She thrives on collaboration, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to optimize health outcomes and create a supportive environment for all who visit our lab.

Mirvat completed the Medical Laboratory course at ABES College Canada in 2009. Since then, she has honed her skills across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, public clinics, and private practices. Mirvat has a special interest in helping young youth overcome their fears of phlebotomy and to that end, she received her CTC Commitment to Comfort training from the Calgary Children’s Hospital. She adapts effortlessly to diverse healthcare environments and her expertise extends to performing specialized procedures such as RPR draws. Mirvat has taken on leadership roles as a team lead and trainer. She has also expanded her education having completed her Canadian Payroll Accounting Diploma in 2023 from Mount Royal University.  

Mirvat is a self-proclaimed foodie that enjoys travelling with her husband and three kids. She recharges by hiking the local trails or reading a good book.
