After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Fineman pursued her medical degree at the University of Sydney in Australia, followed by a Family Medicine residency at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and holds an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification. Since 2007, Dr. Fineman has been practicing medicine in Vancouver. She initially took on the role of Medical Director at the False Creek Healthcare’s Urgent Care Centre where she launched their primary care division and developed specialized programs within her practice, such as executive health, women’s wellness, and cardiac protection. She has been dedicated to expanding her practice ever since. Her expertise in prevention and proactive primary care has led to invitations to speak at corporate events, media engagements, and other sponsored business events.
Outside of her medical career, Dr. Fineman is actively involved as a board member for a technology company and serves on the strategic advisory board for a medical research company based in Chicago. She dedicates time to supporting various charities and enjoys golfing, outdoor activities, reading, and traveling.
