Vera is committed to the development of healthcare technology as a scalable and sustainable way to improve overall health outcomes. She is highly motivated to contribute to the Harrison team and support the delivery of exceptional care and customer experience. As the mother to a child with health challenges, she is acutely aware of the healthcare benefits a team approach can provide, and as project manager of CareChart, she is excited about its contribution and growing potential to transform how a family’s medical records and healthcare are managed.

Vera earned her bachelor’s degree at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and has had continued with technical training at BCIT. She started her career in software testing at PolyOptimum, an international healthcare scheduling company, and more recently was the product manager and live operations manager for Carebook, an online health management tool. She loves to problem solve, work on technical specifications, and assist clients and team members as effectively as possible.

In her spare time, Vera loves hanging out with her large family and enjoying their endless celebrations, doing minor home renovations, redecorating, and visiting thrift shops to buy things “with potential” that will live forever in her garage.
