Born and raised in New Zealand, Carys holds a Postgraduate Diploma and Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology from The University of Auckland. She is a certified Dynamic Reformer Pilates instructor and a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist through ACSM. She has diverse clinical experience from New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Canada, working with clients presenting a wide range of health conditions including cardiovascular, haematological, musculoskeletal, metabolic, neurological, and pulmonary care. Her areas of expertise include clinical exercise prescription, injury rehabilitation, and holistic wellness promotion. A former athlete herself, she underwent her own knee surgery and brings a unique understanding of the mental and physical impact of injuries on training goals.
In her spare time, Carys embraces the outdoors through hiking, bouldering, and team sports. She balances her active lifestyle with creative activities like baking, arts and crafts, and always makes time to connect with loved ones.
