Connie Ashworth

Connie approaches diagnostic care with the understanding that technical skill and human connection must go hand in hand. She is especially mindful of the trust involved in diagnostic testing and takes care to create a steady, reassuring experience for clients who may feel uneasy or apprehensive. From neonatal collections to difficult blood draws, Connie brings patience, adaptability, and a calming presence to every interaction, helping clients feel more comfortable and confident throughout the process.

Connie holds a Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate from the Alberta Business Educations Services and brings diverse clinical experience from Calgary Laboratory Services, Dynalife, and Telus Healthcare Centre, where she developed expertise across client service centres, microbiology, and hospital environments. Working in these varied healthcare settings strengthened her technical capabilities and built her confidence in supporting a wide range of client needs while maintaining a high standard of care and attention to detail.

Connie values collaborative team environments and appreciates being part of a workplace grounded in professionalism, trust, and supportive care. In addition to her laboratory background, Connie is pursuing studies in Business Administration, reflecting her interest in healthcare operations, organization, and the systems that support effective team-based care.

Outside of work, Connie enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her two dogs.
