Dr. Jessica Briggs

Dr. Jessica Briggs infuses her practice with a passion for preventive health and holistic care. She dedicates her time to thoroughly understanding each client’s unique medical history, health challenges, and goals, collaborating with them to enhance both physical and mental well-being. Her approach is characterized by warmth, professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to understanding clients’ needs. Dr. Briggs is driven by a desire to have a positive influence on the quality of life of her clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being for as long as possible.

Hailing from Victoria, BC, Dr. Briggs graduated from the University of British Columbia Medical School and then completed her residency at the UBC Vancouver-Fraser Family Medicine Program. Throughout her education and career, she has accumulated valuable experience in a variety of clinical settings across Vancouver, rural British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories. This diverse background enables her to offer comprehensive care. Dr. Briggs has a special interest in women’s health, contraception, and appreciates the breadth of family medicine, providing support to clients ranging from newborns to seniors.

Outside of work, you can often find Dr. Briggs on a softball diamond, cycling along the Arbutus Greenway, or exploring Pacific Spirit Park with her family.
