Private Healthcare in Forest Hill
Harrison Healthcare provides private healthcare to individuals, families, and businesses in Forest Hill from our Toronto (Midtown) Centre at Yonge and St. Clair. Our membership-based practice is built around a physician who knows you well, unhurried and on-time appointments, and a Care Team that stays with you over the long term. For households across Forest Hill South, Forest Hill North, and Forest Hill Village — as well as nearby Chaplin Estates, Rosedale, Moore Park, Leaside, and the Eglinton West corridor — personalized, preventive care is a short trip from home.
Private Healthcare for Forest Hill Families
Most Forest Hill households seeking private healthcare are not looking for another walk-in visit or spot on a long wait list. They want an ongoing relationship with a physician and Care Team who know their family’s history, are reachable when something comes up, and have the time to talk things through properly.
Harrison offers private family healthcare for adults, alongside programs tailored for children (Harrison Kids age 0-11), youth and young adults (Foundations age 12-24), so one clinic can look after everyone in the house. The model goes beyond episodic care and is highly personalized, prevention-focused primary care that continues year-round. Harrison physicians are supported by nurse practitioners, nurses, registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, mental health professionals, genetic counsellors, and dedicated Care Coordinators, who are the main point of contact for everyone’s healthcare needs.

What does the Harrison Premier program include
Your Personalized Health Assessment
Clients begin with a highly personalized, comprehensive, preventive health assessment and Care Plan. It includes a review and update of your health, family history, and lifestyle profile; a complete physical examination; a functional examination of the heart, lungs, ears, and eyes; consultations with an exercise physiologist and a registered dietitian; an advanced biomechanical assessment; and body composition analysis. The result is a personalized care plan that covers every area of your health.
Ongoing Personalized Primary Care
Beyond the assessment, clients build meaningful relationships with their Care Team. They receive timely, expert, and compassionate care from a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, with unhurried and on-time appointments, after-hours coverage for urgent care needs, and urgent case management. Care is available in person at our state-of-the-art Centre and virtually. When you are travelling, support carries across all Harrison locations, and your health information is kept in a secure online personal health record.
Specialist Care and Healthcare Navigation
Harrison provides navigation and advocacy services for public and private care options, advocating on your behalf and working with your pharmacy, specialists, and other external providers. Clients also benefit from our Expert Provider Network (EPN), a curated network of international specialists, and coordinated MRI and CT imaging when medically necessary, including preferred rates with select partners. Travel medicine and Genetically Informed Care consultations are also included.
What is Concierge medicine?
Concierge medicine is a model of care built around time, continuity, and personal attention. At Harrison, that means unhurried, on-time appointments with time to talk things through, flexible scheduling, and 24/7 coverage for urgent care needs. You see the same physician, who knows your history, and a dedicated Care Coordinator keeps the moving parts connected on your behalf, including referrals, imaging, and outside providers when possible. This is what a Harrison program at the Toronto (Midtown) Centre is built around.
Preventive and Proactive Care for the Long Term
Harrison’s approach is preventive, personalized precision medicine. Preventive care means acting early and deliberately rather than waiting for symptoms to appear. Proactive care means your Care Team looks ahead with you year over year: at how you are living, what your family history suggests, and where your risk profile is heading. Your care plan is a pathway for reducing long-term health risks, and it is revisited as your life changes. For Forest Hill families considering private healthcare, this long-term view is often the deciding factor.
Programs and Fees
Harrison’s Premier™ program is a signature year-round program for adults. Foundations (ages 12–24) and Harrison Kids (ages 0–11) are available for teens, young adults, and children. Fees are payable monthly or annually and exclude applicable taxes. Full details are on the fees page.
Fees for Harrison programs are strictly for the uninsured components of care, including non-physician care. Insured physician visits and after-hours care, prescribed tests, and any other publicly insured services are billed to OHIP by the family physicians. Subscription to a Harrison program is not a precondition to access insured physician services.
