Dr. James Clem

Dr. James Clem is a dedicated physician who believes in empowering clients to optimize their health through preventive care and early disease detection. He believes in collaborating with clients to understand their unique circumstances and, in doing so, helping them set personalized goals for their optimal health and quality of life. Whether it’s training for a marathon or climbing stairs with ease, he believes that we are all athletes in the pursuit of maintaining good health for as long as possible.

After obtaining an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University (London, Ontario) in 2011 and a medical degree from the University of Toronto in 2015, Dr. Clem went on to complete his residency training at the University of Calgary in 2017. He then gained experience as a family doctor at the Alpine Medical Clinic in Banff, where he also provided acute care medicine at the local hospital. Dr. Clem has a particular passion for cardiometabolic health and exercise physiology.

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Clem road cycling or perfecting his home-brewed espresso.
