Vanessa finds some of the greatest satisfaction in her work through the connections she makes with clients. She enjoys getting to know people, understanding their needs, and helping them feel comfortable and respected throughout their visit. For Vanessa, seeing someone leave with a smile is especially rewarding, knowing that even a small interaction can contribute to a positive healthcare experience.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and completed her Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician diploma at Anderson College in Toronto in 2021. Her career has taken her from clinical pathology and nuclear medicine internationally to hospital and public health laboratories in Canada. She has performed blood collection and ECGs for both adults and children, along with specimen processing, where proper handling and preparation are essential to reliable diagnostic results. Her experience also extends to laboratory information systems, giving her insight into how accurate documentation and coordination between healthcare teams support timely care.

Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys cooking, watching films, and spending time with her family. She especially loves exploring new places and sharing experiences with her children.
