Samantha Waugh-Thomas

Samantha brings a natural warmth and welcoming demeanour to everyone who walks through our doors. She enjoys meeting people with diverse backgrounds, engaging in conversation and getting to know clients and visitors. Samantha appreciates that as the first person many see on their way to a healthcare appointment, she can set a positive tone for that person’s interactions. She is motivated to remember the smallest of details, knowing that she can quickly bring a smile to their face as they arrive. With compassion and her personalized approach to customer service, Samantha is guaranteed to deliver an exceptional experience when visiting the Centre.

Samantha earned her Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication and a Masters in Marketing and Data Analytics University of the West indies, 2018. She worked in telecommunications from 2013 in customer experience and retention looking for ways to surprise and delight clients, and ensure a positive lasting impression for her company. She loves to be part of a team, knowing that her contribution matters and that she and her peers are always willing to support each other. Samantha is always looking for opportunities to improve clients’ health experience, appreciating the value positivity can bring to overall wellness and achieving your health goals.  Additionally, Samantha has exceptional communications skills, honed when working in media at Newstalk 93 FM (Jamaica) as a News Presenter and Program Host as well as the Grenada Broadcasting Network as television and radio News Presenter.

Samantha is a voracious reader, getting through an average of 45 books per year. In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her family, close to water, and listening to reggae music.
