Robena approaches nutrition with a deep understanding that food is more than just fuel—it’s a complex, personal relationship. Her passion lies in translating intricate nutrition science into digestible information, empowering clients of all life stages to achieve their health goals. With a keen ability to build trust and rapport, Robena excels at providing evidence-based support in meaningful ways, always attuned to the nuanced needs of each individual. Robena employs a client-centred philosophy, combining her critical thinking skills with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques. She collaborates closely with clients to create and modify nutrition care plans, ensuring sustainable lifestyle changes that boost nutritional value and improve cardiometabolic markers. Her approach is rooted in compassion and a commitment to long-term health outcomes.

Robena first earned her Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2014 before pivoting to nutrition. She then completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food from Ryerson University in 2020, followed by a Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Toronto in 2022. Her diverse background includes experience in outpatient clinical nutrition, content creation, and work with family health teams and community health centres. Robena’s expertise spans nutrition assessment, education, and developing tailored nutrition plans for a wide array of clients and lifestyles.

Robena’s greatest joy is experiencing the world through travel. At home, she expresses her love to family and friends through the fine art of baking.
