Navjot Burn

Navjot is dedicated to client-centered care, bringing innovative thinking to every task to enhance the healthcare experience. Her passion for delivering efficient and compassionate care is evident in her work, and she thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Known for her strong communication skills, Navjot effectively engages with diverse populations, ensuring seamless support at every step of the care journey. She takes pride in contributing to exceptional client outcomes and upholding the highest standards of quality in laboratory services.

Navjot began her academic journey at the University of the Fraser Valley before transitioning into healthcare, completing the Medical Laboratory Assistant program at Stenberg College in 2018. Since then, she has honed her technical expertise and collaborative skills, balancing client needs with operational efficiency while supporting team goals to improve lab processes. Her attention to detail ensures accurate documentation of diagnostics, contributing to high-quality client care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Navjot worked at the BC Centre for Disease Control, excelling in public, high-pressure environments. She has also gained valuable experience at Mission Hospital and a multidisciplinary primary care center, where she developed proficiency in ECG and phlebotomy.

Outside of work, Navjot cherishes time spent with family and friends. She also loves to unwind with a good book.
