Michael’s lifelong involvement in sport sparked an early interest in how movement can help people recover from injury, maintain their independence, and perform at their best. He enjoys helping clients find ways to move that reflect their individual abilities and goals, whether they are working through rehabilitation or looking to improve their overall health and performance. Michael brings an encouraging and engaging approach to movement, with a focus on helping clients make progress that supports their quality of life.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2004 before studying Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal University. A Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario, he brings more than two decades of experience in the health and wellness field. His background in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and sport performance helps him understand how to meet clients where they are and develop an approach to movement that reflects their abilities and goals. Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals also allows Michael to consider how movement can support each client’s broader health and quality of life.
Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Michael stays active outside of work through mountain biking, snowboarding, pickleball, running, and hiking. He also loves to travel and explore new places whenever he gets the chance.
