Registered Nurse

Meaghan Timmermann

Meaghan’s background in acute and surgical nursing has given her an appreciation for care that extends beyond a single procedure or health concern. She builds meaningful relationships with clients and creates the space for them to feel heard and informed in their care. Harrison’s focus on prevention allows Meaghan to see a more complete picture of each client’s health, connecting information and trends from multiple points in time to help inform their care moving forward.

Meaghan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia Okanagan before completing specialized perioperative training through Vancouver Coastal Health in 2021. Her nursing experience includes preoperative and operating room care in Canada, as well as travel nursing in the United States, where she adapted to different surgical teams, hospital workflows, and operating room protocols. She has cared for medically complex clients across a wide range of surgical specialties, supported women’s health procedures, and worked closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams. Her time in preoperative care also gave her extensive experience preparing and educating clients before surgery, reinforcing the importance of clear communication and helping people feel comfortable and informed.

Outside of work, Meaghan enjoys cooking, travelling, and running along the Vancouver Seawall. Having grown up ski racing, she also loves spending winter days on the hill in Whistler.
