Care Coordinator - Dr. Barber & Dr. Swiegers

Krista Stone

Krista Stone is motivated to provide best in class client-centered care. With a passion for helping clients achieve physical and mental wellbeing, Krista finds great satisfaction in helping clients identify and convey their health concerns and supporting the care team in the implementation of personalized treatment plans. She works diligently with her team to be a pillar of consistency, flexibility, and support. Her dedication and compassion provide a foundation for positive health outcomes.

After earning her medical office assistant and unit clerk certificates from SAIT in Calgary in 2020, Krista dove straight into hands-on work during the pandemic. She gained experience through Alberta Health Services at an acute care facility before transitioning into a diagnostic imaging clinic. Her patient and attentive approach led her to excel in training new team members, meticulous record-keeping, and creating a welcoming environment throughout the intake process. She loves to be a reliable ally for her team and clients.

Willing and eager to share her love of baking, if you are looking for a sourdough starter, Krista may be the first person you turn to. She enjoys getting outside to bike and appreciate Alberta’s natural beauty with loved ones.
