Known affectionately by many of her client’s as “Dr. Thilly”, Dr. Shihani Thillaivasan is a compassionate family physician deeply committed to client-centred, evidence-informed holistic care. She strives to create a space where patients feel truly seen, heard, and supported—whether navigating chronic illness, celebrating growth, or facing life’s more difficult moments. Her approach integrates preventive care, chronic disease management, and personalized longevity medicine to not only extend lifespan but also enhance quality of life. Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, she values the diverse expertise of her colleagues to deliver thoughtful, integrative care tailored to each individual.
Dr. Thillaivasan completed her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario in 2009 and earned her medical degree from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2014. She holds a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and received her Certification in Family Medicine with the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2023. Her clinical interests include women’s, teen, and children’s health, mental wellness, and aesthetic medicine. She holds additional certifications in the forensic management of adult sexual assault, emergency medicine, women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, and cosmetic injectables.
Enthusiastic about mentorship and medical education, Dr. Thillaivasan became involved in teaching medical students and residents through the University of Toronto’s academic initiatives. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys painting, hiking, and discovering cozy cafés and hidden-gem restaurants. She also loves to travel and plan new adventures with her husband.
Dr. Thilly will be available to see clients when Harrison Toronto (Midtown) opens in October 2025.
