Dr. Yee earned his Bachelor of Science with Honours from McGill University before completing his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Calgary, followed by his Family Medicine training in 1992. Over the decades, he has built a remarkable breadth of experience across diverse healthcare settings. He has founded and managed two group family practices, worked in both public and private clinics, and provided essential care in both hospital and hospice environments. Currently, he serves as a part-time clinical consultant to both a sleep clinic and a neurology clinic, bringing his specialized expertise to multidisciplinary teams. His extensive career encompasses medical education, health technologies, and medical regulatory and governance matters—a testament to his comprehensive understanding of family medicine and the Canadian healthcare system.
When he is not caring for clients, Dr. Yee enjoys exploring science and historical trivia, travelling the world, discovering new culinary experiences, and capturing memories through photography.
