Diagnostic & Screening Coordinator

Dilruba Afroz

Dilruba’s mission is to transform a necessary experience into something unexpectedly positive—making clients feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive to a healthcare setting. She believes that when trust is established and anxiety is eased, even routine procedures feel smoother than expected, and the grateful smiles of her clients are her greatest reward. Dilruba’s approach blends technical excellence with genuine warmth. She thrives under pressure and tight timelines, excelling at multitasking while maintaining her focus on each individual’s comfort and care. Her self-motivation and quick adaptability ensure efficient, timely service for every client, regardless of their age or circumstances.

Dilruba earned her undergraduate degree in History in Bangladesh before completing her Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma training at Everest College in 2007. She has also pursued continuing education courses at George Brown College and is currently engaged in part-time Social Work studies at Centennial College to further expand her expertise in healthcare. Dilruba has extensive experience working with diverse client populations, delivering precise and compassionate care while consistently exceeding expectations. She spent over a decade working in the laboratory of a clinical research organization and has additional experience in a multidisciplinary setting, collaborating with a team in preventive health. Prior to entering the healthcare field, she developed strong leadership skills and a commitment to exceptional service as a manager at McDonald’s.

In her spare time, Dilruba expresses her creativity through baking beautiful cakes that bring joy to her friends and family, spreading warmth and happiness wherever she goes.
