Carrie’s educational background includes a post-secondary diploma in Communication Arts, a certificate for Education Assistant, and a diploma in Medical Transcription and Healthcare Documentation. She began her career in marketing and communications for large corporate offices in Calgary, where she developed a sharp eye for detail and excelled in fast-paced environments. Later, she transitioned to education, working as a learning assistant supporting students with complex behavioural, learning, and medical challenges. This role further cultivated her patience, compassion, and adaptability. Her diverse expertise includes exceptional communication skills, community engagement, and the ability to meet a variety of needs with ease.
Outside of work, Carrie embraces her role as a dedicated sports mom, spending summers at the baseball diamond, fall at the football field, and winters at the hockey rink, cheering on her two active boys. When she’s not supporting her children’s pursuits, she enjoys reading, travelling, and spending quality time with her family.
