Carol enjoys helping clients see what they are capable of through movement. She believes everyone can benefit from exercise and likes to find ways that make it work for each client’s abilities, interests, and everyday life. For Carol, one of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing clients feel stronger and more confident in what their bodies can do.
Carol earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, with her graduate studies focused on aeronautics and cardiovascular physiology. Her research included working with the European Space Agency to study how prolonged inactivity affects the cardiovascular system, as well as assessing adults across a wide age range to better understand changes in arterial health with ageing. She has also worked in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and with Lululemon’s research and development team, where she applied exercise science to movement and fitness assessments. This varied experience helps Carol bring both a strong scientific foundation and an individualized approach to exercise programming.
Outside of work, Carol enjoys travelling and discovering new foods and wines. She stays active through dancing and running, and in her spare time, she can often be found at a local coffee shop with a good book.
