Registered Dietitian

Nina Hirvi

Nina’s personal and deeply rooted value of client experience in addition to providing the highest quality care runs parallel to the Harrison Healthcare values. Nina brings compassion, innovation and excellence to each interaction with internal and external partners helping to build the new clinics, provide consultations as a dietitian, as well as mentoring new staff in the Harrison way.

Nina has over 30 years experience in the healthcare industry working as a consultant and in primary care settings.  She completed her Registered Dietitian degree at the University of British Columbia and specialized in Cardiometabolic disease, including Diabetes. More recently, she has worked behind the scenes supporting operations, strategic planning, and new clinic builds.

Nina appreciates that quality care cannot be delivered by just one team member, and the truly integrated team of professionals is what makes working at Harrison so rewarding. She believes that designing a comfortable, warm and inviting space will create an environment where collaborative care can thrive, and empower patients to take action on their care plans.

In her spare time, Nina can found romping in the forest with her dogs, cooking with her kids, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of Vancouver Island.
