Senior Director, Marketing

Gail Findlay-Shirras

Gail is passionate about fostering awareness and connecting Canadians with high-quality healthcare because she believes wholeheartedly that education on proactive and preventive behaviours leads to better health outcomes. To this end, she is always seeking opportunities to share Harrison’s clinical knowledge and expertise so that she may inform and support as many clients and individuals as possible.

Her approach is enriched by a diverse background that includes working in marketing agencies, consulting, and in-house roles for various brands. Her portfolio includes projects for the Province of British Columbia, Vancity Credit Union, Hootsuite, Haribo, and Best Buy, among others. A career highlight was her role as the Manager of Robson Square during the 2010 Olympics. With expertise in events, experiential marketing, and brand management, Gail excels at crafting polished, memorable experiences throughout the client journey.

Gail holds a BA in Geography and Commerce from the University of British Columbia. In 2017, she furthered her education at RED Academy, completing the Digital Marketing Professional program. Her extensive experience in both traditional and digital marketing is invaluable as Harrison reaches out to current and prospective clients across the online and offline worlds.

Beyond her professional life, Gail is an avid skier and hiker, spending weekends in the mountains with her young family and friends. She is deeply committed to volunteerism, particularly in engaging young people to participate in sports, and emphasizing the importance of water safety. She served on the Board of KidSport Vancouver for 5 years until 2015 and currently is a Vice-President at The Lifesaving Society – BC & Yukon Branch. Gail also holds a WSET Level 2 certification in wine and lives on a farm and vineyard in the interior of BC.
