Experience you Bring & Qualifications
- Certified Exercise Physiologist, CSEP or ACSM
- University degree in Kinesiology or related field from a recognized university or program
- Experience with exercise testing (stress testing), ECG reading an asset
- At least one year of clinical experience
The Role: Exercise Physiologist in Calgary
• Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), Graded exercise tolerance testing, Body composition testing, Functional movement screens (FMS), Balance testing such as the modified CTSIB protocol, Various strength tests such as grip strength, dead hangs, and plank test • Senior fitness test • Various biomechanical, gait tests and assisted device ergonomic recommendations • Compile and prepare comprehensive health status reports, incorporating test and assessment results. • Create personalized exercise programs based on clinical guidelines from CSEP/ACSM. • Engage clients in discussions on topics such as fall prevention, injury prevention, sleep health, and stress management.
