Sanda is committed to creating a space for clinical innovation; to nurture the clinical staff so they can make an impact on our clients’ lives. She is guided by the Harrison core values of compassion, innovation, and excellence and seeing those come to life through high quality programs and services.
Sanda is a seasoned healthcare executive with experience in regional, national, and international programs across primary care, executive health, virtual care, and pharmacogenetics. She began her healthcare career as a nurse in Romania serving the neonatology and ER units before venturing internationally on cruise ships where her excellence in customer service was honed. She then completed a Bachelor of Science, Nursing from the University of Victoria. Her scope has since expanded as a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, Healthcare Leadership graduate studies at Royal Roads University, and a Product Management certificate from Pragmatics Institute.
Sanda’s unique blend of skills as a clinician, in clinical operations, product management, and as a business leader allow her to see new ideas from conception to execution. She recognizes and balances patient needs with those of the clinical teams she supports. Sanda is able to implement medical workflows and technologies that enable the team to deliver exceptional care and ultimately, improved health outcomes for our patients.
She strategizes, develops, and expands the clinical programs for Harrison clients, with a particular interest in how we can promote Precision Medicine, including genetics and personalized care, to each individual. Sanda sees community partners as an opportunity to expand our mission to optimize health outcomes. She strives to build strong relationships and networks that will enhance our model of care beyond Harrison Healthcare centres and share our personalized, preventive approach.
Outside of work, you can find Sanda spoiling her daughter, travelling, or entertaining loved ones with delicious treats from her kitchen.
