Sage has always cared for patients as if they are her own family members. She is motivated by the compassionate model of care at Harrison and values the impact she has on clients’ health and wellness journey. Sage appreciates the holistic approach that team-based care provides and enjoys finding new ways to personalize care plans and help clients understand and act on the health information presented to them.
Sage completed her Nursing Degree at Queen’s University in 2019. She has since worked in general medicine and cardiac surgery at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, specializing in wound care, diabetes management and cardiac health. She is certified in HIV/AIDS prevention and has also worked as an educator at Juna Health with a focus on sexual health and women’s health.
Sage is a very effective teacher and communicator. She enthusiastically educates clients on tactics and strategies to improve their overall health and optimize outcomes. By helping clients stay informed and empowering them with the latest evidence-based information, Sage believes that collaboration with them and their team can help achieve the best decision making for her clients.
A self-declared exercise fanatic, Sage will always know what exercise class to recommend to anyone in Vancouver. Sage also recognizes that there is a careful balancing act involved in achieving optimal wellness. If she’s not enjoying a walk on the Vancouver seawall or skiing the Whistler slopes, she’ll be at home reading, listening to music, or hosting a spa day at home with friends.
