Lindsay believes wholeheartedly in team-based care and an interprofessional approach to achieving client health goals. Her warm demeanor and enthusiasm for empowering clients make her a wonderful partner in health for Harrison’s younger clients. Lindsay feels energized by the comprehensive preventive model of care where every team member can contribute their expertise to each individual care plan. She values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships so that she can understand the complex health factors contributing to her clients’ overall wellbeing. She is motivated to contribute to a holistic, evidence-based practice and remains committed to continuously learning and improving.
Lindsay graduated with a Bachelor of Child and Youth Study from Mount Saint Vincent in 2014 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Nursing from Queen’s University in 2016. She worked as a registered nurse in the medicine, surgery, and perinatal departments departments at Kingston General Hospital in Ontario. She has additional experience in post-partum, gynecology, and travel nursing completed while she was doing her Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner, also from Queen’s University. Her professional passions lie in pediatric, adolescent, and women’s health.
Lindsay is from the Maritimes and loves the outdoors. She can be found walking or biking around town to try new restaurants and coffee shops. To unwind, she often enjoys baking or catching up virtually with family and friends around the country.
