Kari strives to provide compassionate, preventive health care with both clinical excellence and client satisfaction in mind. She enjoys working with patients to attain their health goals and supports the clinicians and staff at the Calgary clinic to deliver best-in-class personalized care to every patient.
Kari’s nursing background began at Foothills Hospital in Calgary and continued at the University of Lethbridge for a post RN bachelor’s degree with a specialization in critical care. Over the past 30 years Kari has worked as a front-line intensive care nurse, nurse educator and nurse manager. She has in-depth knowledge and experience in intensive care, cardiac rehabilitation, and primary care settings.
Kari values the team-based care model at Harrison and facilitates collaboration within the team. Her focus on process and quality improvement balanced with the patient perspective is her top priority.
Kari loves spending time with her family balancing the quiet moments at home with a busy life of activities, sports, and travel. She looks forward to escaping the city bustle when she can to enjoy a family home in Crowsnest Pass.
