Aria believes in the power of compassionate care and blends that spirit with her technical skills in the Harrison lab. With a passion for understanding human behavior and helping others, she was drawn to the medical field where she can make a positive impact on client’s lives. She is motivated by the comprehensive team approach taken at Harrison and eagerly contributes to the wellbeing of others every day.
Originally from Iran, Aria worked for seven years as a lab technologist, gaining significant expertise in several departments including microbiology, chemistry, and hematology. She furthered her education by earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Life Coaching from the University of Karaj. Upon moving to Canada, she expanded her customer service skills by obtaining a Hospitality Management diploma from Corner Stone College in Vancouver, BC. Although she enjoyed relationship building and client management, she returned to her original passion for healthcare, completing her Medical Laboratory Technician program at CDI College. She earned valuable research experience at St. Paul’s Hospital studying Cystic Fibrosis before returning to direct client care at Harrison.
Outside of work, Aria enjoys acrylic painting, modern abstract calligraphy, kayaking, and spending quality time with her family.
